LONDON OXFORD AIRPORT
Opened in 2022, the Ultimate Warbird Flights Oxford Airport facility offers fantastic transport links and local attractions, as well as the beautiful brand new hangar in which our facility is located. Local landmarks like Blenheim Palace and the glorious Cotswolds can now be seen over the beautiful elliptical wing of the Spitfire.
Oxford Airport was originally established in 1935 as a municipal airport but was soon required for the war effort and taken on by the RAF in 1939 as RAF Kidlington during WWII, being primarily utilised as a training facility. It is quite fitting then that Oxford is still now one of the worlds premier locations for pilot training, as well as being one of the UK's busiest airports for both private and charter flights.

Our bespoke facility is located in the brand new Hangar 15, which is sign posted from the entrance. There is allocated parking directly outside. Inside you will find an executive lounge with various militaria and amenities for your entourage to enjoy whilst you are airborne.
With the obvious attraction of the University City of Oxford you won't be short of things to do in the local area. Blenheim Palace is also located just a five minute drive from Oxford Airport and, as well as being on of the UK's premier stately homes, was the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill.
Oxford is located less than an hours drive from London and is accessible by public transport directly to the terminal building.
Getting to Oxford is very easy as the airport is well connected by road to the M40. On public transport Oxford Parkway train station is the closest and has a direct bus to the airport leaving every 15 minutes.
