25 Minute ME109 Flight from Sywell

Service Description

The world's only surviving Hispano HA-1112-M4L two seat dual control Buchon G-AWHC was produced by La Hispano Aviacion in the 1950’s and was essentially a Messerschmitt BF109G with a british Rolls Royce Merlin engine installed. The Spanish Air Force operated the aircraft until late 1965 and was then placed in storage. This aircraft, and many other Buchons, were then removed from storage and made airworthy again for the film “The Battle of Britain”. During this time, between 1967 and 1968 the aircraft was placed on the UK civil register under the ownership of Spitfire Productions LTD. The aircraft made its last flight during filming in December 1968. The aircraft was then sold, along with many others, to Wilson “Connie” Edwards, of Big Spring Texas, and shipped to the USA in a dismantled state. The aircraft remained in storage in Texas until late 2015 when Air Leasing was tasked to collect the aircraft for its new owners and return it to airworthiness in the UK. The aircraft has a complete set of controls in the relatively spacious rear cockpit and presents the only opportunity to fly in a Messerschmitt 109 anywhere in the world. Cancellation Policy

SPITFIRE / MUSTANG / BUCHON Should you wish to cancel your experience, please call us on 01604 624 058 as soon as possible. Each situation is treated on a case by case basis; however, should the flight be cancelled by you, with no valid reason, less than 14 days before the flight and not rebooked, an admin fee will apply. Should the flight be cancelled by us due to unacceptable weather, serviceability or other unforeseen circumstance (e.g. COVID 19) and you do not wish to rebook, a full refund less the 10% booking fee will be available 3 working days after the cancellation. Should the passenger arrive on the day and we cannot fly them due to an undeclared health issue or incorrect measurements on the Health and Statistics form, an admin fee will be retained. All prices include VAT and invoices will be provided at the appropriate time for payment. There is the option of transferring your ticket to someone else providing they fit the health criteria. This can be done at anytime up to 1 week prior to booked date of your experience and is free of charge, please notify us of the new passenger and their contact details as soon as possible. Onward sale of tickets for profit or gain is not permitted and if suspected, the ticket will be cancelled, and no refund will be given. It is not possible to auction your ticket for charitable purposes. TIGER MOTH If your flight is cancelled by you more than two weeks before the flight, a full refund less a 10% admin fee will be provided. If less than two weeks before with no valid reason, no refund is given. Full T&Cs available on request.
